‘Welcome Back, Oakville’ is the theme of the new marketing campaign encouraging local residents to shop again – safely – in their neighbourhood commercial districts. It will include social media, print, bus shelter, radio and TV advertising as well as store and window decals. Phase 1 will run through July. As restrictions ease, a second phase will be added.

Campaign materials are available on the Invest Oakville website for all businesses to use: share the hashtag #WelcomeBackOakville or social posts or customize the SM graphics with your own photos, put a decal in your window or use floor decals to mark physical distancing. All materials are free to local businesses.

The campaign is a joint project of the Oakville Economic Task Force, which includes the Bronte Village BIA, Town of Oakville, Kerr Village BIA, Downtown Oakville BIA, Visit Oakville and the Oakville Chamber of Commerce.
