2018 marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I, with November 11, 2018 marking 100 Years of Remembrance on Remembrance Day.

The Bronte Legion Remembrance Day ceremonies will take place on November 4, 2018 at 10 a.m.

The Royal Canadian Legion parade will assemble in front between 10 and 10:30am and will proceed west along Lakeshore Road from 79 Jones St. to the Cenotaph opposite Walton Memorial Church, for the Ceremony of Remembrance hosted by the Bronte Royal Canadian Legion Chris Vokes Branch 486.  Attendees are invited back to the Bronte Legion downstairs Clubroom for refreshments after the ceremony. 


FREE PARKING is available on-street, along Ontario Street, at the Harbour Conference Centre.

ROAD CLOSURES for Sunday, Nov. 4

The following roads are closed for Bronte Legion Remembrance Day ceremony on November 4, 2018.

  • Approximately from 10 a.m. to noon, Lakeshore Road West from Mississauga Street to Bronte Road.

Halton Police will supervise the road closures; town buses will be detoured around the parade route.
