Organized by the Bronte BIA, the At Home in Bronte: Winter Edition has arrived. Local visitors are invited outside to walk, push and cycle to Bronte Heritage Waterfront Park and surrounding businesses to see – and use – 50 professionally painted Muskoka chairs now installed throughout the district and Heritage Waterfront Park.
The art installation is safely spaced out, free and available any time, during any weather.
Tip: Each art chair has a hidden lighthouse icon waiting to be discovered.
Take a walking touring of the waterfront district, which is home to 200+ unique locally owned and operated restaurants, retailers and service providers. Bronte is accessible by bike, car, local public transit and GO train. Read more about parking before you head out.
This program is a great addition to the Town of Oakville’s new There’s Snow Place Like Home outdoor winter programming that encourages residents to get outside, get active, and stay local – safely. Note: the Town maintains and plows snow from the paved pathways in a large section of the park near the chairs.
Take a photo of yourself in the chairs and share @BronteEvents on Facebook and Instagram.
