Bronte Fish & Chips is Bronte’s oldest restaurant. Celebrating over 50 years family owned & operated after first opening their doors in May 1968. Bronte Fish & Chips is a frequent winner of the Diamond (1st place) for Best Fish & Chips in the Oakville Beaver Reader’s Choice Awards winning 6 years in a row. This is an award that is voted on by the people of Oakville, and with customers that have been returning to the restaurant since opening day, its hard not to see why they are an easy favourite. The Halibut, Haddock, Cod and Sole orders are made fresh to order, the fish dipped in a homemade batter recipe that has not changed since the establishment started.
With the pictures of old Bronte, the warm, friendly atmosphere , great homemade food and the familiar faces , Bronte Fish & Chips is a popular Oakville destination and a proud part of Bronte’s history.
