For Immediate Release: April 8th 2015

On Easter Saturday families hopped into Bronte Village by the hundreds for the Bronte Bunny Trail Easter BRONTE_VILLAGE_EASTER_1.jpgEGGstravaganza to meet the Easter Bunny, collect Easter Treats from areas businesses, and participate in lots of Easter fun! With face painting, balloon animals, and a great performance by children’s performer Susie Sunshine at CJ’s Cafe, the event was a blast for the whole family!

The event was proudly presented by the Bronte Village Business Improvement Area to help showcase the great businesses in the area, with the aim of encouraging people to shop local. The area’s main streets, Bronte Road and Lakeshore Road West, were blushing pink balloons to indicate where children could get Easter treats, with many of businesses offering special Easter deals for Mom and Dad.

Business owners throughout Bronte embraced the Easter spirit, such as Michelle McAuley and Cathy Comarin of Embark “life with dogs” – a pet store, café & lounge for dogs and their owners, who gave out special Easter treat bags for dogs to the dogs owners who came in. At Trias Gallery, Indira Roy Choudhury held a colouring contest for the kids. The winner, out of over 80 submissions, was 7 year old Catherine Deane. Her masterpiece was framed and is hung in the gallery window from April 5th to 12th.
