Art in the Park

This event was first held in 1965, and has since become an annual outdoor art show and sale held on Civic Holiday Monday in every August.  Art in the Park was originally held in coronation Park where Oakville Art Society had its first home, since 1996 the show has been held in Waterfront Heritage Park located in the Bronte Harbour area. This show boasts only original work with emphasis being placed on painting, pottery, sculpture, woodworking, photography and artists are chosen for their originality and command of their chosen medium.  Art in the Park is one of Oakville’s premier community events and attracts both artists and visitors throughout the southern Ontario region
