& Dancing With Santa

Bundle up, bring a chair and your camera, and come down to Centriller Square on Lakeshore Rd. (opposite Sobey’s at Centriller Square Plaza). Experience the mirth and merriment of an old-fashioned Bronte Christmas during our Bronte Village’s Annual Open House & Tree Lighting Ceremony on Saturday, November 23, from 4-6:30.
Explore, celebrate, shop and dine in Bronte Harbour Village.
From 4:00 pm, gather the family at Centriller Square to visit and take pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus. Enjoy the sounds of the holidays, courtesy of Audioman’s Retro Rock Lounge. Capture the magic with photos of your children in Santa’s lap or dancing with Santa for that once in a lifetime memory. Where do kids get to dance with Santa? In Bronte. Enjoy festive treats from Denninger’s Foods of the World and from other participating Bronte BIA businesses.
Take time to shop some great early sales and warm up indoors at one of Bronte’s excellent eateries with mulled cider, festive treats or whatever your heart desires.
Be in best voice to enjoy live performances from the young people from Stage It Performing Arts Studio, www.stageitarts.ca a multi-disciplinary performing arts studio located in Oakville Ontario. The studio offers production programs in Musical Theatre and courses in Dance, Voice, Pop Music and Acting.
At approximately 5:30pm. join in carolling with the magnificent acapella voices of the 60+ person Tempus Choral Society. www.tempuschoralsociety.com Directed by Brian Turnbull, the chorus repertoire features a variety of music from Jazz to Sacred.
Tempus will lead us up to greetings from BIA Chair Mary Roberts, Mayor Rob Burton and other special guests.
Round out the merriment by raising your voice in happy chorus with the Tempus Choral Society to sign to the countdown to the tree lighting, officially ringing in the holiday season in Bronte Village.
