| Murray is a resident of Bronte and a Broker at Remax Aboutowne Realty Corporate Brokerage. Murray is married with 3 children. His 2 sons have completed university and are successfully pursuing their careers, while his teenage daughter attends Abbey Park High School in Glen Abbey. Murray's background includes 25 years of wholesale sales experience with Sears, The Bay, Eaton’s, Walmart, and independent retail stores throughout Canada. Murray was also Sale manager and Director for companies Sara Lee, Chateau and Carhartt where duties included sales planning, preparing advertising programs, strategic marketing campaigns and managing/training of sales personnel. Murray's experience and knowledge is an asset to the BIA and the challenges facing the Bronte Village - West Oakville area. Murray's personal interests include travel, carpentry and golf. He's been a member of the Oakville YMCA and has enjoyed coaching the “Y” girls basketball program for the past 4 years. His committee work and involvement with local charities within the Oakville Milton Real Estate Board region has helped Murray develop a deeper sense of the various community activities, occuring within the Oakville area. |

| Acclaimed for his 8th term in 2003, Ward 1 Councillor Ralph Robinson has been active in municipal politics since 1982. His local involement ranges from chairing the Bronte Creek Environmental Assessment Steering Committee, to serving numerous Town committees. He is involved with the Oakville Sports Hall of Fame and the Regional Race Relations Advisory Committee. Prior to his move to Oakville, he was involved in politics in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland. Outside of politics, Councillor Robinson has 30 years of banking and entrepreneurial experience. In 1991, Councillor Robinson was elected to a lifetime member of the Association of Kinsmen Clubs. He's also a lifetime member of the Minor Oaks Hockey Association. Councillor Robinson is on camera on COGECO TV programs "Municipal Beat", "Round Table" and "Santa and the Kids". Born in Lindsay, Ontario, Councillor Robinson and his wife Marie have raised three children, and have seven grandchildren. |
